Disclaimer of liability - Horse Driving Trials Competitions

Neither the Organising Committee of any Horse Driving Trials to which the Eacdg or BHDTA Rules apply, nor the Eacdg nor the British Horse Driving Trials Association, nor any landowner, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, save for death or personal injury caused by negligence of the organisers or any one for whom they are in law responsible, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, drivers, grooms, spectators, land or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any way whatsoever.

The organisers of events take reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers, officials and stewards.
